Who performs the review?
Experienced software developers lead code, architecture and implementation reviews, with Shopify experts assessing Shopify-specific work. Quality assurance and testing are scoped around the intended behaviour and the customer journeys that matter to your business.
Do you review AI-generated code?
Yes. We review AI-generated, human-written and mixed codebases. We validate the implementation against the brief, its surrounding architecture and the expected behaviour, rather than relying on the code generator’s explanation.
How do you make sure the website matches our requirements?
We agree the intended behaviour and acceptance criteria with you before reviewing the implementation. Findings reference those requirements, and testing covers the agreed journeys, business rules and relevant edge cases. Any ambiguity is clarified before sign-off.
What does end-to-end testing include?
We agree the important journeys and connected systems during scoping. This may include product selection, cart updates, discounts, checkout handoffs, forms, tracking and third-party integrations, along with failures and regression checks. The review records what was tested and any limitations.
Can you work with our developers or agency?
Yes. We can provide independent review, reproducible findings and implementation guidance for your existing team. We can also quote remediation work and retest the agreed changes after implementation.
How are pricing and turnaround agreed?
We assess the size and complexity of the implementation, access, integrations and required test coverage. You receive a defined scope, quote and estimated turnaround before work starts. Reviews and any subsequent implementation work are agreed explicitly.
What access is required, and will you change our live site?
We usually need the requirements, relevant source code and a staging environment or Shopify preview with appropriate permissions. We agree access and testing boundaries first. Live changes, customer-impacting tests and deployment require a separately agreed plan and your approval.
Can you guarantee there will be no unintended consequences?
No review can eliminate every possible defect. Our process reduces that risk by checking requirements, architecture, integrations and regressions together. We document coverage, outstanding issues and anything that could not be verified, so you can make an informed release decision.
Do you offer ongoing quality assurance?
Yes. We can support code reviews, implementation reviews, regression checks and end-to-end testing as part of your release process. Start with a single feature or discuss a recurring review cadence based on your team’s needs.
